flora
The sound of laughter announced her before her footsteps did.
It trickled ahead of her like light off water, warm and easy, followed by the soft clack of heels against the old stone path leading toward the Bodega’s edge. Flora arrived in a blur of movement and colour: curls pinned half-up with golden clips shaped like sunbursts, a silk jacket the hue of ripe apricots cinched at the waist, and a skirt that fluttered around her legs like petals in the breeze. She looked every bit the queen, but more relaxed than usual; if there was a strange energy riding beneath her skin, a too-stillness behind her eyes, it didn’t show. Not really. Not if you weren’t looking for it.
"Maea," Flora called out, her grin already in place as she stepped onto the terrace. "You are officially the most surprising pen pal I've ever had."

We need love, But all we want is danger
We team up, Then switch sides like a record changer
