The squeeze around his throat, the way Ronin drives him harder into the stone as he loses control, it all sends Remi spiraling. His hand never falters, strokes growing rough and frantic, the sensation cresting like a wave rising far too fast to be stopped.
His body locks against Ronin’s, a shudder ripping through him as his release crests—hot and sudden, pulled from him with a gasp that breaks open into a quiet, aching moan in the shape of his husband's name. The world narrows to the rush of pleasure crashing through his limbs, the sharp scent of sweat and steam, the burn of stone against his palms, and the heat of Ronin pressed flush to his back, grounding him even as he unravels.
For a few moments, there's nothing. That brightness, that storm of need and fire, softens all at once into something heavier and deeper. Remi turns his head as much as he's able, tilting back against the Knight as he sweeps one arm over his shoulder to grasp Ronin's, his touch no longer frantic but reverent. As is so often the case, every inch of the Bastion begins to ache with affection so raw it almost hurts.
"I love you," he breathes, voice hoarse and trembling with the weight of everything they’ve been through. "Gods I love you so much."
