Having held his breath for longer than is perhaps wise, the white fireworks behind Ronin's eyes burst into vibrance as he snatches in a lungful of air, then another, and he finally becomes cognizant of the world around them as it opens into fresh noise and heat and colour. "And I love you," he whispers without needing to so much as think about it, kissing the words reverently against the reddening bruises at Remi's throat. "More than anything," he promises, his fingers having grown slack and gentle, skating across his husband's skin until he can fold his arms around him properly.
Holding him back against his chest more than he's pinning him to the wall now, Ronin's eyes slip shut as bliss starts to plunge into the slow, warm darkness of deep satisfaction. "I will never stop loving you like this," he says softly, his kisses migrating up to the soft space behind Remi's ear and against his damp curls. "Never stop wanting you like this. Not for as long as we both live, and even then." Kissing him again before letting his head drop to rest against the Bastion's shoulder, it's of little surprise that he feels like he might be able to drift off right there on his feet.
"I bet someone stole my flamingo shorts," he adds in a playful whisper. "Like some weird souvenir."
