This is a state of grace

A voice from a nearby yard stops Lyra in her tracks. Feeling sheepish, she looks around to see a man peering at her. Still shivering against the night’s chill, she stops and waves. ”Oh, no - I’m sorry, I’ve just gotten a little lost.” Ironic, that a search and rescue responder whose whole job is to find people has gotten herself turned around, but she’s been too caught up in the beautiful night sky to really pay attention to where she is going.
As the man offered a coat, Lyra shakes her head. ”Oh, no - I couldn’t possibly,” she protests, a faint blush on her cheeks. Not only is she lost, but woefully underprepared for the terrain - she really should have planned this outing better, and she berates herself silently for the mistake. ”If you could just give me directions to the skyport, I’m sure I can find my way from there.”

Love is a ruthless game
Unless you play it good and right
