Sah had given himself a few days to be with his kids before returning to Safrin. He couldn't possibly wait any longer. Not when his probable trip to Starfall loomed. Entering the shrine, he placed a glass ball on the altar. The orb's colors shifted in the light of the shrine, scattering shades of blue across the surface. Within its center was a white crystal star. This one had only taken a few attempts now that he was getting used to working with glass. Kneeling and bowing his head, the Wild Thunder prayed.
"Safrin. If you have a moment? I'm ready to begin the second amulet." The ring for Luka, the son he'd already failed once. Not again. Never again.
