Elizabeth
She didn't want to linger on the uncomfortable topic too long, but Elizabeth found herself extremely intrigued by the monster. If she was face-to-face with the beast herself, she wouldn't have been quite so eager to know, however, from the safety of leagues between them, she found her scientific curiosity getting the better of her. "I wonder how it navigates without eyes... maybe scent or vibrations? Or sound?"
Sighing, she shrugged her shoulders. "Either way, that sounds tough. At least you have time to think it over and come up with other strategies - if you plan to return, that is." There were plenty of other people who could step up to fill his place, to do their part for Caido. He didn't have to be the only one risking his life.
Off in the distance, Elizabeth spotted a pair of purplish frost foxes leaping and twirling around each other in the sand. They were a little too far off to see if the purple was a trick of the light or something more sinister, so she kept her eyes on them, but chose not to comment, choosing instead to ask, "How's the family?"
