Noe
It's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me
At teatime, everybody agrees

Noe wasn't sure what Kai was on about, but she nodded all the same. He had to be a little crazy today to be eating poems and talking about being able to speak freely. Was there someone trailing him? The girl snuck a look around, searching for anyone looking suspicious, but came up empty.
The thought of Kaisel and Koa going off on missions together left a sour taste in her mouth; she missed her brother, and even though he'd made an ass of himself recently, it still hurt to know that he'd go on adventures with their cousin and yet not think twice about his sister. But she didn't want to hurt Kai's feelings, so she pasted on a smile. "They better not be, like, monster eyes or anything weird," she told him, rolling her eyes. Knowing Kai, that was probably the kind of souvenir she could look forward to from any missions he went on.
As for his muscles... Noe nodded along. "Totally impressive," she told him, giving a thumbs up from across the table. Which was to say, relatively average in her book, but hey, she wasn't going to tell him that - especially not when he was kind enough to compliment her in return. Noe preened under Kai's (forced) enthusiasm, tossing her hair over her shoulder and fluttering her lashes. "Thanks! It's new," she told him. "I was waiting all Deepfrost to wear it."

I'll stare directly at the sun, but never in the mirror
It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero
