He’d very likely have an answer to Danta’s comment of him having an answer for everything, so it is probably best he doesn’t say it. It gives the butcher time to reach over the side of the bed, fitting his glamour back into place as his horns unfurl and his tail weaves contently behind him as he scrounges through the grasses at the side of the bed, plucking the flower to hand it to Danta.
Truthfully, he does expect Danta to either eat it or burst it into flame. But he’s pleasantly surprised when the Maverick does no such thing, tucking it behind his ear instead as Asta settles, propped up at the foot of the bed on an elbow. “There are many things in this bloody mind of mine.” He purrs back, letting the smirk play on his face before he swiftly puts it aside to focus on watching Danta watch the shadows as they dance from the movement of the sun and the occasional fluffy cloud.
“You’re welcome, darling.” Comes the soft hum before he’s shifting again, aiming to blanket his lover. “Would you like to get out of bed to investigate it or shall we continue to lounge?” He asks as he noses his way in for a kiss to Danta’s chin, then to his jaw, then to his cheek and a jeweled ear, giving him plenty of time to decide and respond. Asta’s content either way, if he wants to curl up and sleep beneath the canopy and gentle sun with the warm, sweet breeze or if he wanted to go for a dip, the butcher’s content either way.
