Totally oblivious that her words hadn't been taken as the joke they were meant to be, Elizabeth proudly moved the snow with her magic. It went much better than last time, and she did her best to push it into manageable piles for those transporting it all. Having finished her tea a while ago, she was similarly parched, grateful to hear the call for a break.
She found the picked-over table of food, snagging a piece of croissant to refuel the energy she'd lost in her magic usage before securing a large glass of water. Spotting Iskra and Deimos nearby, she secured them each a glass as well. Her smile was already tired but warm with encouragement as she approached Deimos first, offering the refreshments. "This is going really well. You're doing a great job." He didn't need her approval, but she gave it freely, seeing how the others followed his directions diligently, how they respected his leadership. It was admirable, and she hoped he knew how much everyone respected him.
Once he'd taken the drink, she gave a nod of her head and moved to Iskra. Elizabeth brightened a little as she offered the water. "How are things going?" Not that she expected him to be struggling with the manual labor, but she was curious of their progress, nonetheless. Grinning, she leaned down to pet Goose, scratching behind his ears as she did so. "Has Goose been putting in all the work?" It was half for the dog and half teasing at Iskra.
It wasn't until she'd checked on the others that Elizabeth got to work. Her magic wouldn't do much good against the earth, so she grabbed a shovel, pulling her hair back into a short ponytail before doing her best to dig into the ground. It took most of her weight to get the shovel down, then to leverage it and lift the dirt, but she did her best, making slow progress through the section.
