Jack had similarly mentioned 'training' and 'practice' to her, and Nova finds herself immediately bored again, thinking of doing the same motion over and over and over again. Why can't she just be naturally good at it? Why does she need to practice? It implies that she's not already an incredible and powerful hybrid with magic and shifts that would overpower anyone in her path!

It's obvious in the slight pout of her lips, the way she starts to move swiftly between stances, a low groan starting in her chest. "And you just do this all the time?!" Just the idea makes her want to gag as she watches Koa's expression soften to one of 'peace' and 'tranquility,' as if this isn't the most boring thing in the world.
