Lots of reasons not to try and start a something with Soh.

Heat creeps up the sides of his neck; he rubs it, as though he might force the embarrassment back down to his skin. "No! I mean- yeah, as a friend." He's overemphasizing, not making eye contact, hoping it'll be enough. Does he like her?

What's the point of thinking about it, if she doesn't like him back?

Raising his hand to signal the waiter, he gestures for two more drinks. "Anyway, I thought we were here to talk about your love life, not my lack thereof?"
