He grunted as the massive bear swung its powerful arm, slicing with deadly claws. It hit him in what would have been his chest, but Vi’s protective power surged over his body to block the bear’s attack — and, most importantly, the woman scrambling behind him to regain her footing.
Even as his shield started to dissipate, Noah stayed between the ursur and the woman. ”Keep moving back!” Noah commanded, readying two celestial arrows to strike the ursur.
