Elizabeth
Intrigued by Amhran's line of thought, Elizabeth tilted her head. "That's a good question, although I assume it's a little bit like 'the chicken or the egg' quandary. If the place thinks highly of Vi, he probably appreciates it enough to enjoy the area. And if Vi was the first to express his approval of the space, it probably chose to name itself after him." Her shoulders came up in a shrug, curious if she might be able to find history on the area to support one theory versus another. Maybe she'd investigate afterwards.
But then they're suddenly amongst an array of pools that glitter like circular windows into other worlds. Her eyes widened as she walked slowly between them, taking in each sight with undisguised awe. "Some believe them to be images of real places, while others speculate that they're sights conjured from the magic of the Greatwood." Kneeling next to one depicting an island castle with a cascading waterfall, she added, "But don't try to swim in them." The brown of her eyes were filled with caution as she looked to Amhran, her words serious. "There's no way to know if you'll be able to get out." She didn't know him well enough to know if he might risk the swim or not, but she certainly hoped not.
