Deciding to worry more about her own role as support for the both of them, she scanned the surroundings and frowned at the incursion of void flowers among the budding roses.
"Noted. Keep away from the hedges – they're infested with void. No idea what they do, but it feels nasty." Fingering her chakram, Maea examined the brown patch on the ground, then looked for the next intersection in the maze. When it didn't offer much, she pointed up. "I'll go above, see if I can spot anything from the air."
Shifting easily,the woman shrank into the pale form of the gore crow and took to the sky. Making sure to remain above her companions, she turned her pale eyes to the path ahead, hoping to find a clue as to what might be waiting for them.
