Not that it makes him wary in the slightest, but he arranges the peaches he’d brought alongside Colt’s offering before stepping back.
The rodeo lingers on his mind, a perfect opportunity to bring people in and get some use of the still new skyport in New Haven. So it had been a resounding yes when the idea had come about, Sunjata focusing on helping Colt however she needed it to make it a reality.
So here he is, stepping back, hoping his presence might help her achieve her goal without the odd spirits that often haunted King’s End, head bowed as he listens to the wind chimes dance in the light breeze.
