Thalassa
In the back of my mind, I'm still overseas
Thal accepts the refill of her glass with a gracious dip of her head. Even if it hadn't been upgraded a shelf, the bourbon tastes better when flavored with a little victory, and she takes a smaller sip to appreciation the moment. As the woman offers her words of praise, she simply shrugs her shoulders, a subtly smug look on her face. "What did I say? I don't lose."
With her crew now filling the bar with their boisterous singing, she turns more towards the bar to let them have their fun without feeling like their captain has plans to interfere. Spinning her glass leisurely on the counter, she looks to her betting buddy. "How about we up the ante a little?" She tilts her head, a calculated grin on her lips as she says, "I bet I can guess your name in two tries or less." Whether the woman knows it or not, Thal already has her suspicions on her identity, making it a near guaranteed win in her favor.
