Flora hummed her agreement, a low sound that vibrated behind her teeth as she watched Erebos enthusiastically assault a three-eyed snow creature. "Yeah, but at least when you go on your terrifying gardening trips, you’ve got a bunch of immortals with you." She flicked a sideways glance toward Deimos, lips quirking. "Feels like I’m halfway there though, given what Remi and Ronin can do." It was functional immortality at best, the kind that came with a lot of stress, but so did war.
"I’ve thought about asking Safrin to make me Attuned," she admitted, gaze returning to the snowmen. "Not like I need feathers to match my daggers—but just so I could talk to you all silently the way I know you always are." A small shrug, curls bouncing over her shoulder. "Seems like it would help. Especially now." It would mean giving up her biggest advantage, though, and presently Flora wasn't ready to do that.
She crouched beside one of the more symmetrical snow-things and pulled a small container from inside her coat, unscrewing the lid with gloved fingers. "Ludo didn’t say how much it needed," she said, brushing aside a lopsided snow-ear to scoop up a palmful of shimmering snow. It glittered faintly in the light, strange and ephemeral, almost reluctant to settle. "But I figure if we’re gonna risk frostbite for it, might as well grab enough to make it count. Unless there's a Halovian limit when it comes to taking snow from the region?" she added, tilting the container his way with a teasing smile.
