Any satisfaction Koa felt for having hit the Villi (and don't be mistaken, he felt very satisfied) is literally shoved out of him by the counterattack, the frigid burn stealing the breath out of Koa's lungs. It takes all he has not to double over in agony as tears spring to his eyes; he coughs, choking, trying to keep some level of composure because fucking Frey's taint, that hurt. Dimly he's aware of the skeletal fingers still in his, and he turns to blink down at the zombaby. "You okay, little guy?" Koa asks - only to give himself a mental kick because the number one rule of fighting with an unexpected skelebro companion is don't get emotionally attached to the unexpected skelebro companion.
Which he's not. Because that would be weird.
Anyway. Gritting his teeth, Koa lifts his head back high enough to clock where the villi still sings along merrily. Once again he pulls his arm back, ready to punch something in the face. The villi, if his companions haven't gotten to it; otherwise he's happy to go for Mr Big Sword instead. Either way, he focuses his will and intention into the healing aspect of his wraps. He can do enough damage with his rings, he figures, and he'll be of no use to anyone if he's halfway dead.
Koa tries to punch the Villi again if she hasn't already been killed. If she has, he will aim for the Spectral Knight.
He is using the HEALING aspect of his wraps, but rings remain active
