COLT
Coming back from New Haven, supplies slung over either side of her saddle, Colt is planning to make her way back home. It's just an assortment of fruits, snacks, and a bottle or two to restock her cabinets, a quick trip. Or so, that had been the plan as she and the buckskin baby under her move over the slopes of hills and plains.
She liked to use errands to get some time under the saddle on the youngsters. Giving them a job besides arena work and a long stretch to wear themselves out on and settle into listening has been a trick of hers for years. Of course, you always run the risk of coming across something unusual, something that requires a more experienced steed to see you through to the other side. King's End is generally serene though, and this thought is distant in her mind, even with the void infection still lingering.
The great hulking shadow of the Firecracker sweeps over the green hillsides like an unusual dragon. As it swept across them, like a hawk driving chickens to scurry, so that buttermilk ass tucked with sudden fervor. Uh oh.
