I reminded her that it was neither my choice nor the appropriate time to hear it just so she may enjoy the event with a clear conscience.” He drawls, gaze flitting back over toward Thalassa with a small twitch of a smirk on his face. “And then I left for a booth with Danta.” Leaving Maea to listen to his words and indulge in a few too many drinks, he’s sure.
