Woe betide the lot of them if Nova ever uses her full power; in the meantime, Jack contents himself with watching as she absorbs the information he has to give with the sort of concentration that would likely surprise people who have only met her for a few minutes. The captain is beginning to know better, though, and there's the smallest curl of a smile on his face as he straightens up to let her come at him again.

"Better," he says. "Now I'm gonna try to get outta your way. Make sure that other fist stays up as well - people ain't gonna ask before they try to punch you back, a'right?"
