The wind is at your back, the world is at your feet
If Nova didn't know any better, she might think that Jack's having fun - not that she has any time to think about that as she throws her fist forward. His little huff is enough to tell her that she's improving, and Nova breaks her stance for a second so he can see the delighted grin on her features. She only has a moment before he's instructing her to keep them up, her fists springing back to her face, covering the starry freckles on her cheeks.
Nodding her head with enthusiasm, Nova bounces on the balls of her feet, light as air. "Right!" She steps forward to punch again, trying to move a little faster this time in hopes of getting him before he moves. Just as he'd instructed, her other hand stays up high, guarding her face from any counterattacks. That still leaves the rest of her body wide open, but she doesn't seem concerned with that.
