The possible worldly wisdom of his words is lost on the young hybrid, although she should probably be paying better attention considering the state of the world - and what happened in Stormbreak. However, her thoughts twinkle at the idea of watching more fights, excitement making her eyes bright. Maybe she'd even get to see Jack fight. After all, she's starting to see that he might have a few things to teach her.
The glint shifts to something more sharp as she moves to punch again. As she'd expected, he casually dodges her first, but the second is just as easily thwarted. She frowns at having had her fist caught like it's nothing more than child's play, but she stills and listens to his words. Her mind flurries through thoughts and images like a blurry codex, cataloging how she might integrate her magic. There are almost too many ideas, but her mind finally settles on one as she tilts her head like a curious cat.
