It was kind of charming, actually, that his version of making it up to her is to really treat her out on the town and not just a quick fuck in a broom closet. She follows his lead, her heels clicking against the stone as she tucks herself into his side toward the stand still selling and grilling up burgers.
Taking a deep inhale, she hasn’t realized how hungry she was, and the young attuned flashes a feline smile up at Kaisel before immediately taking the lead to place her order — a ramphire burger for her and a side of fries, before she steps back and peers over at Kaisel to make his order. Then, once done and fully expecting him to pay for them, Caly squeezes his hand. “What’s your favorite kinda burger toppings?”
