Pierce, she thought, must have a plan, because he was Family. And it must be a good one, because why else would the Family be interested in a place like the Oerwoud to begin with?
Noe accepted her handful of seeds with a coquettish grin, waiting while Kaiden received theirs and Pierce picked a path before beginning to spread the seeds around with a flourish. She didn’t wander too far from the others, seeing as how she had no intentions of getting lost out here, but she did go far enough that their efforts were spread over the area. ”So, Pierce,” she called conversationally as they worked, never one to stay in silence for long. ”Why don’t we have more field trips like this?” She climbed over a large root, glancing towards the man. ”This is fun!”
