Kaiden studies the seeds they're given with reverence, rolling them around with their fingers they can't help but whisper, "They're so beautiful." The mer is nearly reluctant to tear their eyes off of the precious seeds but does so to better understand what's expected of them. Watching Pierce, they nod along, "I'll do my best!"
It saddens the mer that they can't join Pierce and Noe on land. But Kaiden understands how important their role is. Flora that traitorous bitch had helped them to realize their worth in helping the Family. Underwater was their domain and they would happily hand it over to its proper rulers.
Following the current, Kaiden begins to lay the seeds. They stop every few paces to dig a small hole in the sandy bottom. Then they delicately place a deed before covering it back up with an encouraging pat of their hand.
