Sah
The information Hadama provided was harrowing and it had Sah going over the details of the situation once more. Jack's rebuttal about egos earned him a few points with the hybrid. If his earth magic was holding where Deimos' hadn't, it wasn't about him. It meant that the wyrm must still be weakened from the previous fight. That was something that they needed to take advantage of.
Even so, this should have been an argument about where to go from here. One where the hybrid could just choose which idea he agreed with more. But why did it feel like he was being forced to choose between loyalties? The sharp words being thrown around had taken on a personal edge. The only thing that he did know was that he wasn't leaving.
Turning to Jack, Sah nodded. "I know. I doubt it'll work, but I want to try." A small grin stretched across his face, "I appreciate the offer, but I'll be staying. I hope that you have a safe trip home." His fellow mage had been an asset in helping to free him from the webbing and given how many times that he'd fought beside the man now, the Wild Thunder saw him as a solid ally. If Jack felt that it was best for him to leave, the hybrid wouldn't hold it against him.
As for Noah and Hadama? Sah snarled, running a frustrated hand through his hair as he eyed the duo. "Fucking hell, you two." Noah was literally family and a fellow Halovian. Sah loved the man like a brother. Hadama was a dear friend, one that Sah had leaned on for wisdom on multiple occasions. He was also Safrin's Demi-god. The goddess to whom the Wild Thunder had sworn life, limb, and soul. The same goddess who had made Sah promise to protect his family from the Family. He couldn't do that if he died.
But if the Family won, it wouldn't matter. No one would be safe. Pushing back the void with the flower and returning home was the goal. But as Sah took stock of his lack of how severe injuries and how the rest of those choosing to stay looked, his resolve hardened.
"If gas is an issue, then we need air magic to deflect it while the flower takes root. I can't do that while simultaneously holding up the tunnel." They couldn't risk the tunnel collapsing on top of the flower while he tried to tend to it. The Wild Thunder's voice took on an edge as his eyes met Noah's, "It's too early to give up on killing the wyrm today. We need to try for a little longer." Even as he spoke, Sah felt his heart crack to be at odds with his cousin. A sentiment that could surely be felt through the bond.
Turning toHadama, his voice was equally firm, "If this doesn't work, I'm willing to give it one or two more tries, depending on how it goes, with some other bait. But we shouldn't tempt fate by refusing to give up and lose our chance to plant the flower. We might need to plant it while the gas and tunnel still pose a risk." Jack was right about that, but they needed to try at least a couple more times before it was clear that the wyrm was out of reach. That wasn't the case just yet.
Telekinetically, Sah removed the jerky from his bag and spread it around the edge of the hole left by the wyrm. The frustration of the situation colored the hybrid's voice as he called out, "Come get dessert, you damn snake!" He prayed hard to Safrin, and to Vi, that the wyrm would come and that Noah would be able to kill it.

Sah states that they can't give up on killing the wyrm just yet, and he's willing to try a little longer before just focusing on planting the flower. He uses his telekinesis to spread the jerky around the hole, so he doesn't have to approach it. He is still partially shifted. Armor cooldown 2/2

I think therefore I am,
But what if all I do is bleed?
