even my darkness shines for you
Shivering at the feel of suddenly gentle fingertips ghosting down his back, Ronin shifts himself just enough to be comfortable without giving up an inch of space between them. Given their demigodly strength and endurance, this of course means he can all but collapse atop his husband without worrying too much about suffocating him. He lets his eyes drift shut as if to better try to match the beating of his heart against Remi's as it slows to a less frantic rhythm, huffing out a laugh as the other man's voice hits the air.
"It wouldn't be the first time either of us has been spit out of a magical land," Ronin says ruefully, cracking open an eye to nose against Remi's cheek, leaving an obnoxious kiss against the scruff of his jaw. "The last thing I was going to suggest is leaving now," he assures him, relishing the feel of the blanket of grass beneath their bare flesh. "In fact, I was going to suggest a sneaky little wild nap, like old times. And then, if you're still tired, of course I'll carry you." He grins.
