Stretching out into the warm grass and against his husband's affectionate touches, he's clearly unrepentant at his idea of a wild nap, doubling down as he relaxes back into Remi's arms. "Don't tell them," he whispers, "but I don't really care what the trees say, when it comes to what you and I get up to."
Drawing his finger to his lips to shhhhh dramatically, whatever else Ronin is about to stay is promptly silenced by the sudden, golden fan of a wing. Turning enough to gaze up and admire the feathers as they stretch, letting in tiny bands of light, he reaches up to trace gentle fingers across them. "There's nothing to forgive. I think I prefer this anyway," he admits, nestling in closer and burying his face against soft curls, drawing in a long breath and sighing it out as he lets his body grow boneless and heavy.
"I love you," he hums into Remi's hair. "Now, don't wake me until it's Leafchange, or until the void is all gone. Whichever comes first."
