All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
All I ever needed
Much to Liam's surprise, the bartender offered to sit. With a quick glance around, the soldier could see why. It wasn't like there was anything else to do or anyone else to chat with. He had to doubt that the other man had anything to offer by way of advice for his specific situation, but then again... "Alright, well, I guess you can practice your listening and advice-giving skills on me."
He took a sip of his whiskey. "Let's say, theoretically... you reject someone," he said, being purposefully vague, not realizing that it was pointless to do so. "And it's partly because there's someone else, but also partly because..." Why had he rejected Flora? If he looked past Maea, and past the fact that Flora could obviously do better than a soldier who'd been hiding out in the Greatwood for the past few years, what was it, really, that had made him call a halt before anything had really even happened?
"Well, just because. But let's say you regret it. What do you do? With the person you rejected, and the someone else?"
