"Mm, perhaps another day," Danta agrees with a small nod; another day when he'd had a chance to get his head around it, to let it and the memories it had unleashed settle back into his subconscious a bit. For now he knows himself enough to know he needs this version of the butcher more than anything, and gods if he isn't grateful that Asta obliges him despite his sudden clinginess. Better still is the offer of a drink, and Danta manages a real smile this time.
"I really would, yeah," he says, huffing out a soft laugh and forcing himself to create a little distance between them to allow Asta to move about the room. "I hope you'll forgive me, but I'm not sure I'll be able to concentrate on our lesson after this." He feels terrible, too, given the effort Asta has clearly gone to, but no amount of one, two, threes is going to distract him from this latest revelation.
"We can leave the furniture moved out of the way for a bit, though. Maybe tomorrow we can try again?"
