Zavien
Never regret anything that made you smile
He shrugged his shoulders at her question, smirking and wondering similarly if the answers to the world might be hidden in some dusty tome that he wouldn't be able to decipher. But then Lena was looking at him with those fluttering eyes and his heart skipped a beat. Zavien paused for a moment, a distracted smile on his lips as her fingers trailed the spine of the book. Leaning over her shoulder, he did his best to read the words scrawled across the cover as she said them. His lips still quirked up at he whispered teasingly, "I don't know. That'd probably be a useful sedative for your victim." Not that she'd find it boring, but whether she forced him to struggle through the text or smack him upside the head with it, she could easily have him at her mercy.
Zavien stood straighter and chuckled, appreciating how well Lena knew him (not that he was hard to figure out). Eyes glittering, he crossed his arms. "As long as they have pictures." Of stances or weaponry, he wouldn't mind studying them for references. In the silence of the space, he could faintly hear the rustle of Sol's wings as he followed on the top of the shelves, occasionally showering the aisles in fresh dust.
