RONIN
the white knight
you and I burned out our steam
Ronin keeps whatever he might want to say locked tightly behind his tongue, worried that any further objections or retorts might well stir up the storm of Flora's anger once again. Instead, his wings flexing, he swallows hard and offers her a stiff nod in return. "Yeah, any time," he says of her thanks, though he's not even sure how true that is any more. Rubbing at the back of his neck and trusting that their conversation, if it could be called that, is truly over, he steps up onto the railing of The Sugar Tide.
"Be safe, Flora. And if you haven't done it already... please tell your friends that they're in danger, if you go into Haulani. They deserve to know and to choose to come here, just in case." The world was dangerous enough without a mishap or a decision made under impossible circumstances causing more problems. "I'm sure we'll see each other soon."
Keeping his wings tucked tight, Ronin steps back from the deck and plummets away through the clouds in a freefall, leaving it arguably far too close to the surface of the Arclight before swooping into a low dive.
