He received the dismissal of his offer with calm acceptance and a quiet respect for Thalassa's privacy. He knew he was not the easiest to confide in, and given how he had just erred against her he took no insult in her unwillingness to open up to him now. He simply inclined his head in acknowledgment of her decision and shifted his gaze to the horizon for a moment, taking in what few words she did grant him with silent contemplation.
