The Hollow Forest was... strange. In some ways, entering the wood felt like coming home. After all, Liam had spent the better part of the past few years in the forest. But that was where the similarities ended. The trees here was dark and gnarled, their bark metallic. When the wind blew, it echoed off the dips and grooves, creating a choir of sounds that was as eerie as it was beautiful.
Liam wasn't sure he liked it.
He mimicked Zavien's posture, resting a hand on the pommel of his own sword. "Yeah," he said, his gaze darting here and there among the trees, skating over areas he could see well while lingering on the black shadows that seemed to permeate the area. As for ghosts, though, he shook his head. "Can't say that I have. Doesn't Ludo bring back a ghost during Leafchange? At the Festival of Lights?"
