Zavien
Happiness is a choice that requires effort at times
A loud, piercing whistle sounded when a breeze ran through the hollowed trunk of a tree, startling him enough to make his heart skip a beat. Sol hopped to face the sound, his hackles raised as he assessed for any other signs, but the forest was eerily silent for a breath, like it had taken all its wind to make such a sound.
Zabien slowly resumed his walking, glancing at Liam as he thought of the Festival of Lights. "They do, yeah. I haven't paid much attention though. It feels kind of... intrusive." He remembered Deimos seeing someone last year, although he hadn't asked who. "These people get to reunite with someone they haven't seen in years. It feels like they should get some privacy from all the prying eyes." His shoulders came up in a shrug, unwilling to ruin that moment with his curiosity.
