Kaisel 's voice was a little too high, a little too chipper, but Soh didn't press him. Instead, she lowered herself to the ground to stick her feet into the pool, sticking close by the dragoon in case he found himself in need of support. After all, hadn't she promised Koa that she'd take care of his family? "At least it's Torchline," she said, a subtle tension in her voice as her gaze roved over the crowd from behind her dark sunglasses. "There are more dangerous places." I.e. there were places not protected from the Family. At least their people had landed here, where they might be reasonably sheltered until...

Well, Soh didn't really know. Until something changed, she supposed.

Her focus shifted as a familiar voice cut through the low hum of conversation around them, and she looked up to find Koa joining them. Sharp relief cut through her for a moment that he was here, and reasonably alright - she'd wondered, after her return letter had gone unanswered - although he was remarkably less put-together than she'd come to expect. Understandable, of course, given all that he'd been through in recent days, but it was enough to have her brow creasing with worry.

A crease that only deepened as Noe was brought up. Soh shook her head. "I haven't seen her in Torchline," she said. "I've been watching, but..." But she was probably still in Stormbreak, with the Family.
