Noah might’ve been a calming presence, had things not immediately shifted after his arrival before them. “Oh, well, we’re manag-,” Lena started out, before her tone was completely cut off, eyes and attention absorbed by machinations and manifestations of Frey unfurling before them. Zavien had warned her, but still, it was something else to watch as others, far braver than she could ever be, descended into the fray and madness and violence.
Her heart lurched, and suddenly she was poised, much like during the war, remembering, recalling, a state of being that wasn’t something in the midst of panic. She nodded at Zavien, and they were off, trying to signal to anyone in the blinding wake of maelstroms and chaos to get away. Her hand grasped hold of her staff tightly, ready to assist if and when it was necessary. “Come this way!” She echoed, waving innocents onwards.
