Don't try to wake me up
Even if the sun really does come out tomorrow
Sohalia had been in Sidhe Village when she'd run into Alys. It was odd to find the seer without her partner, but all had become clear when the Fateweaver had explained what had happened at the pool party. Soh had been so wrapped up in curing Noe that she hadn't realized that Tal had been infected, and she was so upset at the thought that she'd immediately agreed to help Alys search for a rose. She herself had come for the same thing, although she'd been intending to give it to someone who could use it against Starfall. Still, she hadn't hesitated to help Noe, and she reasoned to herself that this was just as important.

Even if she felt a little twinge of discomfort at the notion of failing to help the greater good. Again.

"You could appeal to Vi," Soh suggested, hopping over one of the Marhair's roots as she hunted for anything that looked remotely rose-like in appearance. "That's what I did when someone I cared about was infected." Of course, she knew it might not be that easy. The gods didn't always answer, for one, and for another, the quests that they gave out - especially for a rose - were challenging. But it was something else to try.

Tarak swooped in from overhead, chittering in her ear as he landed on her shoulder. "Tarak says he didn't see anything from overhead." Not that she'd expected him to, not when the foliage was so thick. No, they'd be better off doing this the old fashioned way.
Don't believe anything you say anymore
