"Oh, shoo with you!" Ronin is snarking affectionately to Sugar as she trills her amusement, cools the back of his neck with a quick blast of cold air, and takes to the higher boughs once more. As he'd rather suspected, his companion is not at all feeling compliant in the keep an eye on Remi but especially to make sure he isn't cheating game, and much prefers to hang out with the Bastion when he's It. Which, you know, Ronin can't fault her for her impeccable taste, but it's certainly annoying.
What's also annoying is the fact that he's certain he's seen this tree before. And the one after it. And those footprints - are they his tracks in the dirt, or do they belong to his husband? "If you have told the trees to fuck with me," the Knight announces, as if it isn't utterly true and not technically against the rules, "I am going to insist that we start again."
Grinning as he peers around a large oak, Ronin is distracted, albeit momentarily, by a will-o-wisp floating by his head before swirling mischievously off again. "With my luck, that was you," he comments to Remi no one in particular. "You've learned to become a wisp and never told me. Typical."
