There are a large amount of moving parts, one that Asta accounts for as he dives in to land the blazing fireball against the beast’s face. He steps back the second that it’s launched, prepped and ready to bolt away should it be needed, when the familiar form of Ronin appears - and far more than he was expecting, admittedly - but it gets the job done. Because shortly after the White Knight’s arrival, Hadama arrives, and the gravity spikes in the air lash downward in pelting, horrendous rain.
And then? When the beast finally falls, it’s with a smug grin that blooms across the butcher’s face. No wounds on them to be seen, and he confidently plants the threaded cane down in the sand alongside him to walk with without fear of dredging up the most horrific beasts here.
Not unlike the Spectral Villi, the butcher slips forward at the same time that Melita does - shadows warping around his figure in a slight flare of his Haunt magic. “Wonderfully done!” He chimes to the rest of those still remaining, using the sharp edge of the threaded cane to snag some of the leviathan skin to bring home.
Asta also grabs some of the abyssal leviathan skin.
