Zavien lets out a deep sigh of relief, the tension that had been coiled so tightly around his chest releasing something dark and cruel. Doubts and fears and months-long regrets fall away with such force that he stumbles towards forward, feeling lighter than he had since the Tundra, something healing and whole returning to him. He has to swipe at the dampness sweat over his face, turning to the others as Sol drops his rock on the Leviathan for good measure. His smile is bright and free, sunshine incarnate. "Well, that went much better than I was expecting."
He follows the others to gather pieces from the dark skin, his sword searing through the flesh easily as he adds, "Nice work everyone, although I think there are some others who deserve our appreciation." Laughing, he runs a hand through his hair, the heat starting to make an appearance in the early morning. Too giddy with the hum of victory and the new lack of anxiety, Zavien grins like an idiot. "Anyone else want a drink?" They had to celebrate somehow.
