RONIN
Surprising everyone - up to and including himself - Ronin does not defend the pack of crackers with his life. He'll mourn them later, though, let it be known. But no, he's out for bigger prizes today. Like winning. He desists in the rustling as everything in the woods grows still and eerily silent, his blue eyes flicking up to the trees, pupils warping to draconic slits as if they might stand a better chance at seeing what he's sure will be something perfectly camouflaged to the foliage.
And so when Remi dives, Ronin is ready. The crackers are snatched easily in razor sharp talons (mainly because he's already letting them go) and his fingers snap up to graze the tail feathers of the departing falcon. "Ha!" the Knight announces, springing to his feet. "Now you are Sir It! Enjoy your crackers, you loser!"
Promptly shifting into a luxere, all velvet antlers and fluffy white tail, Ronin bucks and kicks a few times in his delight before, yes, racing off into the undergrowth.
