the sun inside of her rages like wildfire
and she is gold, gold, gold
and she is gold, gold, gold
It’s because he’s got long as fuck legs that the Dragoon has to match pace with her - not exactly willing to double her step count when they could simply meet in the middle. So she increases her strides until it’s time that she stops and makes him turn toward her, an innocent grin on her face as she steps up on her tiptoes to snatch the vodka soaked strawberry from his very lips.
She goes very still, like a predator might, when he says she has something on her face, looking up at him with bright amber eyes questioningly before he’s swiping away the chocolate left behind. Her nose wrinkles with her smile and she swallows down the bite to flash him an even brighter one before they can continue their little self tour of the Citadel.
“Bar’s been real busy. We’re redecoratin’ so we had t’get some new fabric ’n lights. I commissioned a stained glass window to go next t’where I work.” She beams up at him, quite content and pleased with the result of such a thing. She’s been busy, but good, and the Hanged Man is thriving because of it, she thinks.
Hearing the commanding tone he has, her brows lift toward him as she snickers a vibrant sound, nodding as he explains to her. “A’ight.” She pauses, nibbling on the chili dusted cherry on her kebob before she’s answering him. “Bite m’tongue. ‘Cause at least that way I can still eat ice cream ’n keep the pain at bay a lil bit longer.” Confident with her answer, Caly peers up at Kaisel as she thinks. “Would y’rather have the hiccups forever or feel like you’ve gotta sneeze constantly?” She asks with a small smirk.
