With a slice of bread provided, Sascha plopped down between Alys and Sunjata, grumbling happily to herself as she indulged. Or at least she was, until Alys shared her vision - then the little ursur sobered, shifting to place a paw comfortingly upon her bonded's foot.
Alys drummed her fingers lightly against the counter, her brow creased as she puzzled through what Sunjata couldn't say. "I see," she repeated, then made a face. "It's a shame we don't have even a semblance of privacy." Progress with Starfall was enough to bring hope back to the seer's face, though - even if she didn't fully understand what that entailed, exactly.
Then there was something else, something that Sunjata couldn't expand on. But she could feel it, beating beneath his skin - the cautious optimism. So she nodded, thinking. "What can I do?" she asked, turning away from the Archon to search in a nearby cabinet. When she turned back around, she held up pen and paper, raising her brows in a silent question. Would written words be 'overheard,' or would that be a safe way to communicate?
