Sohalia was touched by Noe's words, but she elected to keep it to herself. Somehow, she didn't think the girl would be impressed by a display of emotion over something like this. If they found a rose, though - then, Soh wouldn't hold back.
The young woman broke away from Noe, searching another area of the Observatory. She remembered many things about this place fondly, but her most recent memory was of Koa rejecting her. She left that particular bench to Noe to search, unable or unwilling to revisit it. Maybe she was still hopeful about a future with the dragoon, but that didn't mean that his rejection hadn't stung.
