Elizabeth
Sensing that Alys was very much distracted by her own thoughts, Elizabeth took it upon herself to move ahead. She carried the bundle of towels and hydration and snacks and reading materials to secure a place amongst the steaming pools of water. The heat was almost stifling, sweat already slick beneath her thin cream bathing suit cover. Luckily, she'd had the mind to put her hair up beforehand, but the nape of her neck was already damp.
When she felt a gentle rush of air, she paused in her tracks, a small smile on her lips as she turned to her friend. "Alys, why don't we sit here? There's a nice breeze." It wouldn't be enough to cool them, but at least it would be a nice relief from the sticky heat of the springs.
Setting out the various supplies, she slipped out of her cover to reveal her pink bikini beneath, dipping her toes tenderly into the water before stepping in with a soft groan. The water rippled around her as she situated against the side, looking up at Alys when she rested her head on her propped hands. "Come on in. We can wade through the water for a bit while we look then come back here." Hopefully with a lily in tow.
