Having already lit his smoke by the time another mind brushes against his magic, Jack shakes out the teardrop flame of the match and flicks it away encased in ice. (No need to encourage any wildfires out here, no?) He glances sidelong at the approaching figure, then glances again as he realises it isn't some half-shifted Attuned or some centaur galumphing through King's End. Just a woman on a horse. Stifling the wrinkle of his nose behind taking a drag of his cigarette, he sifts casually through surface thought - Chocolate, Beans and here to chat, huh - before exhaling and straightening up.
"I've had my fill of shiny rocks for a fuckin' lifetime," he says, nudging one pearlescent suspect with the toe of his boot. "'Sides, I ain't much for wishes. But you be my guest; ain't sure your cow'll fit in the wellhouse, though." With his cigarette between his lips, Jack leans down to grab the small crate, keeping it tucked under one arm to expose the dark ink of the serpent tattooed along his left side, celestial and unblinking as the eyes of Safrin's herself.
