the sun inside of her rages like wildfire
and she is gold, gold, gold
and she is gold, gold, gold
Snickering to hear his echo and laugh, the chastising that proves to her she’d picked the right choice as he seems delighted even if confused by the way he’d expected her to take a dare. So it’s when she offers her own would you rather, that her gaze is drawn from the sweet treat in her hand and the colorful kites coming up into view. She hears his silence as he thinks long and hard, sliding her amber gaze back toward him with a crooked smirk. “Pick ‘n choose.” She informs him when she’s utterly delighted by his answer. “I’d pick that one again too.” Caly agrees, sidling close to him to squeeze his arm.
Shaking her head at the question of kites, taking them in. “Maybe we can get one t’try?” She suggests, already scouting for a booth or merchant nearby in the snowy expanse of the Citadel that might harbor a few kites to choose from. She only gets a few moments of searching before her gaze flits over to him with a calculating look that’s both amused and defeated. “Ugh, fine, dare.” Comes the whine, though the sunny smile on her face doesn’t stop.
Whatever he does decide to dare her with, she also intends on finding a kite they can fly, to indulge in the rest of their date with the cool winds and dinner later that she’ll file away as being one of the best days she’s had.
