Iskra thanks the cook as he picks up their order and makes it to the table not far behind Mel, a smirk stretching his lips as he sets the food down and places one of the toy soldiers next to her drink. "When and how did you get these in my pockets?" he tilts his head, the start of a laugh edging in around the words, but his gaze upon her is just something full of wonder. It's a small thing, truly, but he's so entertained by her that he can't keep the warm current that winds across his chest.
He sits down and grabs for some fries, tossing them to Goose who's nose is poking out from under the table. He chomps on some of his own in-between feeding the table monster, pulling out more of the figures as he does and arranging them into a battle scene. He takes some of the ketchup from the fries and flicks it like blood across the wounded. "Y'know, the duck is a dead give away," he drawls to her, gaze flicking up from fries back to her. "Might have stumped me otherwise," assuming that's what she was going for, because why else sneak them in.
